Jen Cabana, Founder

“As a small business owner, the pressure to perform well can often feel heavy, but I came to the quick realization that we're all going through this together. Knowing that continues to give me immense hope. It's been amazing to see small businesses support one another."

my littō is a curated e-boutique offering premium clothing for the special littō ones in your life.

Jen Cabana was inspired by her daughter, Kelia, because she was constantly in search of the best items for her. Now that she's a mom to a 9-month-old, Jen is all the more passionate about bringing the softest and most cozy pieces to her littō one. Her vision has been brought into existence after months of planning, with a desire to build a community of people who are looking for the same for their littō ones.

Q: What was the biggest challenge you or your business faced that you had to overcome?

A - Being mindful with my time. I have a daughter to care for and that comes with a lot of challenging days especially when I'm trying to manage day-to-day operations. However, on the flip side, it has also been so rewarding to be able to do this alongside her. I typically work through the night fulfilling orders, designing and brainstorming the next project after she's been put down to sleep.

Q - How did you stay flexible and navigate your business during the pandemic?

A - Giving myself a lot of grace and staying creative has been helpful for me. There were a lot of deadlines I was trying to meet, but it came to a point where I needed to understand that I can only do one task at a time and that certain things were out of my control. As a small business owner, the pressure to perform well can often feel heavy, but I came to the quick realization that we're all going through this together. Knowing that continues to give me immense hope. It's been amazing to see small businesses support one another.

Q - What has been the most rewarding moment since starting your business?

A - The positive response from fellow mamas, family, and friends has been the most rewarding since starting my business.
